You Are Flexible, Aren'T You? / Ihr seid doch flexibel, oder?

Tango😊!
Where? In Buenos Aires of course.

Wo? In Buenos Aires natürlich.
We get inspired immediately and with great pleasure.
In Argentina we cross numerous bridges ...
In Argentinien überqueren wir zahlreiche Brücken ...
... drive roads which seem to be endless ...
... fahren über endlos erscheinende Straßen ...
... and many more bridges ...
... und noch mehr Brücken ...
... pass mystic rivers ...
... vorbei an mystischen Flüssen ...
... and trunks sunken in a lake

Luckily the water is just up to Martin's ankles, and not to his neck 😉.

Geez! Is it really that long ago that we published our last post? Shame, shame. Sorry, dear friends! Time flies, and so much is happening these days, also in our lifes 😉. Often words fail me, and then, in all honesty, I have not often been in the mood for writing, too 😳.

I know the next blog post should be about our tour to Chad. But you are flexible, aren't you? As attentive blog readers, you know that we are already on another continent. It is west of Africa, so easy to guess: we are in South America. The southernmost point of this continent is the point of departure to a fascinating destination that has been at the top of our bucket list for years. You guys know what I am talking about, right? Yes, it's the Antarctica!!!

Usually you have to book such a trip years beforehand. However, we cannot and do not want to plan that long in advance. So we just make a wish and trust in our luck.

Lo and behold, a much sought-after cabin for two on an expedition ship becomes available at short notice. Whoo-hoo, Antarctica, here we come! And not only that. Even the longest of all possible tours with 23 days is on offer, which will also lead us to South Georgia. That is just fabulous!!! So, dear friends, are you joining us? Let's go to the end of the world.

(Ergo the posts of our time from Chad to the southern tip of South America will have to wait again to be published. At least please find here some pictures from South America as a kind of a 'teaser'. And if all you can think of about South Georgia right now are ??? don't worry. That will change, I'm sure 😀.)

Perfect weather conditions in Bariloche, which is rather
an exception, we are told.

😀.)

On the way we meet lovely other travellers with fancy cars ...
... get surprised by the power and organizanional structure of busy ants ...
... sind überrascht von der Kraft und Organisationsstruktur
fleißiger Ameisen ...
... and are faszinated by numerous fields of flowers and
interesting cloud formations.
... und fasziniert von zahlreichen Blumenwiesen und
